Broken but Beautiful

Earth is an enormous planet with a surface area of 510 million square kilometres. Dividing the total surface area, we have two main domains, that is Land and Water. Again land is divided into valleys, plains, deserts, mountains, etc. Similarly, water is divided into oceans, rivers, lakes, springs, etc. Altogether we can say that Earth is broken into pieces but, it looks so beautiful!

Let's talk about the humans on this planet. Humans date back millions of years. People say that God has made the most complex creature of all time that is us, the Human Being. Scientifically also known as Homo sapiens. Apart from our complex body structure, physically and anatomically, we have a complex psychology.

God has given us emotions which make us unique. We people can express what we have on our mind, unlike other primitive creatures around us. Isn't it strange that we humans have a general tendency of having people around us who take care of our emotions? We all admit that we love being with someone who hears us, who stays with us, and who supports us.

Differences among people lead to a creative world. But what we look in each other is similarity. We often say that we have great similarities and hence we are close to each other. We fight, laugh, cry and love but never get apart! Now imagine you have that one person with you. Among all your friends, that one name pops in your brain.

Think of that person. What if eventually they have to leave you? How would you feel? Broken, shattered, misplaced, confused, miserable or any other term representing these words! According to some studies, it takes around 11 weeks to overcome this. Wow! That's a lot of days. Many things around you are broken, and you might not know about it.

There are teeny tiny molecules around you which break and form new bonds. Somewhere on this Earth, you would find broken glass and many people would dispose of it. While, somewhere a photographer would look at its broken beauty. Somewhere some hearts would be broken, while some would overcome the pain. Some might break records, while some might break chalks.

Everything around us breaks, and it's our way to live and think about it. Do we want our lives to be depressed by something which is broken? Or do we want our lives to be broken and beautiful? Well, this year 2020 has taught us the same. Many of us are broken but still living a beautiful life. Whereas, somewhere someone is beautiful, living a broken life.

Charles R. Swindoll says, "Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it." Comparing it to our current situation. A pandemic invaded our broken planet. Yes, you heard right, a broken planet. We see our planet healing from this situation. It has looked clean and beautiful. Eventually we will heal too. Keep the lines in your mind which I am about to say:

"So many things are broken around,
Scattered and invisible pieces aground,
From glass to hearts,
Ripping them all apart.
They are shattered but intense,
They are elegant and dense,
It's on you how you act,
Because it will show an impact."

With love,
Written by a smiling face with a broken but beautiful life!!

  4. Being broken is a just a change in identity and purpose,
it is the response or perspective that makes us.
Not everyone or everything change after being broken, some even don't leave a trace,
even without it or with a broken and scratched crown, she's still, her grace.
